< Prenatal Environmental Exposures, Birth Outcomes, and Early-life Health >

Kyi Mar WAI

( Assistant Professor, Department of Human Ecology, School of International Health, Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo )

Abstract:  The prenatal period is a critical window of development during which environmental stressors can exert long-term effects on offspring health and development. This seminar will discuss current findings from our research examining how prenatal environmental stressors influence biological aging markers such as telomere length at birth, and their potential implications for child health trajectories.
