1. Plant-animal communities in the Anthropocene

Chuan-Kai Ho (Institute of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, National Taiwan University)

Plant-animal communities provide important ecosystem services such as supporting (e.g., biodiversity supports), provisioning (e.g., food production), regulating (e.g., pollination), and cultural (e.g., recreation) services.  In this talk, I will briefly introduce related challenges in the Anthropocene, including 1) biocontrol in agricultural systems, 2) competition between native and invasive species, and 3) climate change impact on species body size.  Your feedback is welcome.
