Outline of research

Currently, numerous of artificial chemicals are released into natural environment and affect ecosystems. Neonicotinoid pesticide is widely used in agriculture purpose and contaminated in environments (e.g. honey bee). Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon is ubiquitous environmental contaminants from fuel and that combustion. I will try to elucidate the contamination status and the health risk of neonicotinoid pesticide and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by bio-monitoring studies around Kanazawa.
