Chemistry course lecture (Geochemistry B)
Lecture title: Microbial transformations of organic compounds
Date:  9 July 2018
Time:  10:30-12:00
Venue: Room 3, Natural Science and Technology Hall 5, Kakuma Campus, Kanazawa University
Abstract:
This lecture will focus on the biogeochemical cycling of carbon and nitrogen by microorganisms. Main focus will be on the versatility of the bacteria but the lecture will also consider fungi and other microorganisms role. The implications of human pollution and climate change on these processes will be considered.

Earth Science course lecture (Atmospheric Environmental Science)
Lecture title: Bio-aerosol in atmospheric environment
Date:  11 July 2018
Time:  10:30-12:00
Venue: Natural Science and Technology Main Hall #108, Kakuma Campus, Kanazawa University
Abstract:
This lecture will describe the importance of understanding microbial transport, survival and dispersal in the atmosphere.
Linkages to key global climate process will be identified.
