Professor Nagao, the director of the institute, Professor Hayakawa, Division of Atmospheric Environmental Studies, Ms. Yamashita, a master’s course second year student, and Mr. Morokado, a master’s course first year student, visited V.I.Il’ichev Pacific Oceanological Institute (POI), Far Eastern Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences (FEBRAS) from the 2nd to 3rd of November 2017. On the first day, Professor Nagao and Professor Hayakawa made a courtesy call on the President of FEBRAS with Dr. Lobanov, the director of POI. On the following day, Dr. Nagao, Mr. Morokado and Ms. Yamashita made presentations at a workshop hold in the conference room, POI, after that, they discussed the collaborative research between the INET of Kanazawa University and the POI.
